Canadream Farm's KWPN Mare: Expressionisme M, Elite IBOP
When selecting my mares in The Netherlands I absolutely wanted to import a Vivaldi daughter, I found an exemplary one in my elite mare Expressionisme M. Expressssionisme receive her Elite status as a 3 yr old after completing an excellent IBOP test. She is a tall, elegant and solid mare with above average movement. I was told by one of the KWPN inspector "I know the mare, she is a very good mare. I liked her at her one day mare test. I think you did a very good deal".
DOB: April 8, 2009
Height: 17.1 h
Expressionisme`s sire : Vivaldi
Expressionisme's sire, Vivaldi, has an uphill conformation highlighted by an especially appealing front end. He has inherited the amazing forearm elevation and extension of his illustrious sire, Krack C. Vivaldi is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good attitude and a great willingness to work, possessing a compliant temperament. Vivaldi clearly transmits his quality to his offspring.
Vivaldi was reserve champion of his stallion performance test and in 2007 he won the PAVO cup for five-year old dressage horse under Hans Peter Minderhoud. In 2008 and 2009 Vivaldi won the KNHS/KWPN stallion competition with colossal scores. In the final he was awarded a a perfect 10 for his trot! In 2013 he won the VHO trophy for the second year in a row. He was pulled from sport in 2013 to focus on breeding.
Expressionisme is out of Abstract M, Ster EPTM. Abstract M was exported to England in 2010 along with her Apache colt Futurisme M who was selected from England for the semi-final PAVO cup for 4-year old dressage horses in Ermelo. Her grand dam Isiree, keur prok prestatie was very successful in dressage but died at a fairly young age. In her short breeding career she produced foals that perform very well in higher level dressage dressage earning her the prestatie predicate.
Expressionisme's grand sire is Prestige VDL who was the undisputed Champion of his stallion approval in Sweden in 2001. He was approved KWPN with high gait and talent scores in 2003. Prestige has a reputation in Europe for producing offspring with a good front end, size and powerful gaits. Prestige had begun to show in Prix St Georges level under Edward Gal before he was exported to New Zealand in 2007. He is now showing Grand Prix under Sheridyn Ashwood.
